I tend to read on the board how people download movies, What kinda quality are they? Do you have the normal features? i.e. DTS, 5.1 dolby digital, extra features etc.
you can get them from irc or virtally any file sharing network out there.. (gnutella1 and 2, edonkey, fasttrack, bittorrent.. etc)
http://www.torrentsearch.com is a great bittorrent index site. search "dvdr" for the 4.36GB dvd images. the files are HUGE but afterwards, you have the movie in dvd quality. no shitty cams.
but beware! i got caught downloading AVP ( thr custom TFT-DVDR one) and cox suspended my internet.
as many of you fellow cox users may or may not know, cox is on a 3 strike policy. after the 3rd offence of copyright infringement, your information (name, address, phone, SOCiAL SECURiTY #) will be handed over to the respected anti-piracy group (RiAA for music, MPAA for movies) where the claim against you could go all the way to court. the fines arent anything to joke about, either! you could do time in federal prison.. any groups sound familiar?
sure- downloading free music, movies, software, and of course XXX is fun, but be careful. ive been caught twice. (first offense was on kazaa with american wedding)
