does ps2 reads Dvd+r and Dvd+rw ?

so does ps2 reads Dvd+r and Dvd+rw ? cause i downloaded kof maximum impact and then burn it into Dvd+rw and then put it in the ps2 then it tells you disk read error,please help me here with explanation or guide to solve this problem,

PS2 doesn't read rw media. If you have a version 4 or under, stick with -R media. If you have version 5 or above you can use either + or -R.Compatability issues with version 4 and under.

ok , but what do you mean by version 4 ?and how would i know what version i am using?and how i can get one?

I can confirm for you... some ps2s do read -rw maybe even +rw (i know -rw for sure) it all depends on your system, usually newer systems do better.

like I said it depends on your system. If it reads them it reads them if it doesn't there isn't much you can do about it.
