i'm not sure yet, im going out to buy a PS2 today, it will probably be the most recent, or near recent, version of the non-slim ps2.

The recent version ps2's mostly handle both dvd+ and dvd- media.

ok, so ill go out and buy a pack of dvd+r. Since my friend has a pack of -r, we can trade in any sort of situation (most likely not ps2 related) we might need the different type.
