I know its been discussed and people have said what software they have tried to copy little black book without success, I have tried the latest decrypter, alcohol 120% and half a dozen others without any joy. I dont particularly want the movie but I refuse to let it get the better of me. has anybody actually ripped it successfully ? incidentaly alcohol 120% takes it to 83%

any help would be appreciated.

use DVD Decrypter to rip it! some here use AnyDVD running in the background to aid ripping on new disc protection like this film!

What exactly is this Alcohol 120% I have read a little on it it sounds interesting. Could you elaborate on this?

alcohol is for the most part copying pc games with all types on protection!

Since I have your attention, I was going to buy some sony 4x dvd+r's are these quality? Also, I have heard to burn only at 4x. They have some tdk 8x and higher disc's on sale as well if they say 8x and higher could I set the speed on my decrypter to 4x and would they burn fine or, could I just burn at 8x and would they burn fine that way?

not sure on sony but TDK are good!

if it says 8x they usally are ok at that speed, but not sure what you mean on decrypting at 4x? with what app?

ripping speed depends on hardware / software used...

Sorry when I am writing the new movie to my disc's the settings tab on decrypter you can choose what speed. So if I buy those dvd+ r's (tdk) and burn at 8x they should be ok? I have just been scared to burn faster than 4x and if the disc's say 8x and higher, Iwas just nervous about having playback probs you know.

I have been using the sony dvd-r 8x for about fifty disks and have not had a problem burning at 8x. I do not know about the 4x disks.

oh yes if its rated at 8x burn it at 8x! just try one and see! you get some probs at overburning sat at 12x when its not made for it! but some discs can do it ok on overburning
