have a good search thru for 'skipping', u will find what what you need, whether crappy media, too high a speed for burning, firmware or combination of the above etc etc
Reduce that backup target to 4300 mbs.Some discs may contain uneven dye (poor media) on the outer edge of the discs. Reducing your target size should help out on that issue,whatever programs and media you are using.
That should be the first thing to check.

really crappy media won't however only skip at the end, but maybe sometimes throughout the disc. I use Verbatim Datalifeplus now, but still have limit at 4300mb.
