Which one would you chose?-I'm looking at both and I can solder but the solderless options seems nice. Anyway I'm looking for some opinions-if you had to chose between the two-which would would chose and why?

if you have the extra $10 go with the x3...it is very simple to install, and works flawlessly...there is no comparison when it comes to the x3 bios, fully customizable on the fly.
the xenium is a very nice chip as well, it all boils down to which one you want.
that joker who said it is not a good chip is a fool...he is pissed that he doesn't have it...ask anyone who uses the chip, they will tell you that it is wonderfull.

I have to agree with mdsup.
X3 is the way to go. Easy installation and works very nicely. Also, you will get all the help from all of us here that are using X3.

guys...no one said that..i modded a lot of xboxes and xenium in comparison with x3 is a master, xICE is just better...also compare them on google...ull see a lot of not visible disadvantages.

i have xecuter 3 and everytime i try to update bios, it says no bios found.. how do i install bios for my xbox with a disk?? what do i put on the disk? the screen says "flashing mode install disk into cd rom", but the xbox picks up no update. when that blue screen comes up on the tv, it says my hdd only has like 10 gbs, does that sound right? i dont think i have 1.6, i got this xbox nov. 2003

The problem is that I made the bios disk, but it keeps saying there is no bios update. How do you make the disk? The site doesnt say.

i finally made the disc correctly using a memorex cdrw...i loaded the bios and the xbix turned off, when i press power, it goes back to the flashbios screen again. what do i do?

Whenever my xbox comes up, it takes me to a menu with x3 config and other tools. What do I have to do to be able to connect to pc or even install some type of dash?

Hi all
I myself have experiance with both chips and I just have to say that at the Xenium Ice is by far the better chip. It is easy to install and very user friendly.

I want to know what Xecuter3 CE have that Xenium doesn't have? because i am planning to buy a new modchip for my xbox. I want to know the diffence between the 2 chips. I would like something that has more option.

man check it out... i have used many chips. these two in particular are great chips! seriously. as mentioned above it really is a matter of choice. in my experience these two are the only choices. i have used crappy 20$ chips and they work fine. i myself have the xenium ice sp installed with the pin header configuration, in my opinion this is the way to do it. they are both wonderful chips and you would be making a good decision either way you go. great teams support them. i haven't had a problem with either. also the chip is only as good as the bios you choose. i use the m8+ bios since i have really no use for the IGR feature that the xtender bios offers... just a matter of opinion
i always feel a little racist when i do my laundry
