hi i ve been doing alot of reading and i havent found anything about reading speed on dvd decrypter ive seen 1x up to 16x wich do you guys have yr read speed at what x thanks

I have always just left it up to DVD Decrypter to read the disc at whatever speed it wishes.
But when it comes to burning, I never go above 4x.

set your read speed to max in what ever program you use, you will unlikely get near the 16x speed quoted, more often around 8x. If you have problems copying a disc drop your read speed down to 2-4x

yup set to full then it depends on computer hardware / software and dvd protection type etc for speed...

i got a fast computer and i get between 5 / 8 x on rip

plextor seems to have fast rip for there new drives...

i got a pioneer 106

Somebody on here, but I can't remember who?? Shooot sorry.. Told me about this drive a few months ago

I went ahead and got one, and I am telling you this thing rips threw DVD's like a hot knife threw butter!! It is awesome. It never rips below x8 and usually stays right around x12 to x14 consistantly...

Whoever it was that suggested that drive thanks ;-)
