I am getting the classic "cycle redundancy" issue with a clean original of ROAD TO PERDITION. I know it can't be because of a scratch or dirt (I bought it new) so I was wondering if anyone knew of something else. I tried it on DVD Decryptor too, but no dice. DVD43 was running as well on both attempts with Shrink and DVD decryptor. Any ideas? Has anyone had luck with it?

Any ideas? Try AnyDVD by slysoft. This program is like DVD43,by running in the background to help pull off the encryption. It does have a free 21 day trial. I couldn't have done The Grudge with DVD Shrink alone. It gave me the same crc error on a brand new disc, turning AnyDVD on, then shrink ripped right through.

I haven't tried that movie yet. This is the first post about it that I have ran into here at AD.

Sometimes you can get a bum disc on a brand new original dvd.

No worries on this film. I have to agree with everyone else.

I wouldn't have believed it if it hadn't happened to me. I bought "The Forgotten" and brought it home, took it out of the case and tried burning it to no avail. Took it back and got another and it worked perfectly. So...believe it or not, bum discs are out there.

DVD Shrink with nothing else is all you need. It has to be a bad disk.

The above link is for DVDInfoPro, a great tool!
