Hi i have heard that gran turismo 4 is 4.95 gigs. So does this mean there is no way to back it up using a 4.7gig dvd disc?

It's a dual layer game. So you would have to back it up onto a dual layer disc. and if you use DVD Decrypter it can not burn dual layer. Neither can a lot of the older burners. You may just want to buy it. The dual layer discs are like $10 each so unless you get it right on the first try you will waste quite a good deal of money trying.

No, not at the moment. You can't burn it to a 8.5gb disc yet either. The other massive thread basically concludes this.
