ok, i dont understand the whole iso thingy..i just know how to copy exactly, but my main question is, if i get a dual layered disc..will the magic swap disc *latest one* read it?

Don't think so sence SM is made for DVD5 disk in mind, not DVD9.

swpamagic will not work wil dvd dual layer disc's
the TOC for swapmagic dvd is approx 4.7 gb's,however
although i dont have swapmagic,
i think the only way to use swapmagic with DVD-9,is to use a "original"dvd-9 dvd game to load afterwards to tell the ps2 the TOC is over 4.7gb

i.e
load the swapmagic/switch to dvd loader/use DVD-9 original for the TOC/then swap for backup

not 100% that will work as i have not tried it
