I believe WizKid asked me this question a while ago, but I didn't have time to reply when I first saw it, and I can never find it again. The question asked, I believe, was "How can I watch divx/vcd movies on my PS2." You can do this by using ps2reality's media player. All the sites I've seen online with it have like a bad copy, so if you can get in touch with me, I just got a good copy from a friend, I'll send it to you as well. I'll upload it online so everyone can download it

Oh yeah, the movie cds you make... the files have to be in the format of DivX or AVI.

I figured this would be inferred, but may not have been. Your PS2 has to be modded to use this.

i got a few othere questions
1.how do you copy dvd moveis (when i tryed on my dvd burner it say it was copyrighted and didnt copy) do i need nero?
2.where would i find instructions to install a magic3 with an added v4 gap rom chip.
3.what are the best brand of Dvd+r/+RW for copying Ps2 games
4. AND how do you sholder is it melting it to getter or what what

well i got ps2reality i don't know if there's 2 parts cause you said mediaplayer and the ps2reality i got is no media player just something that creates .cue files and tells you to burn on nero but the problem is that when i'm buring the (CUE) image file nero would frezee at a point i don't know if it's the movie but i'll try something else but if you know how to fix this plz reply or give me the link to download ps2reality agian

1. It doesn't matter what software you use, as long is it rips to a defined size. You need to define the size so you can fit it on your disc or whatever you want. It's up to you.
2. Magic3 doesn't require internal modification and will come with instructions if you buy it. Also, if it happens to come with no instructions (Mine had instructions?) search yahoo.
3. Brands for PS2 backups...The debate has been ongoing since people realized it could be done. I reccomend high quality Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Some people report a better success rate with cheaper media, but I do not. You just have to experiment.
4. If you don't know what soldering is, take it to a pro. Soldering is melting metal on circuit boards(usually) to create a connection. If done incorrectly, your PS2 could be reduced to a pile of parts that may catch on fire if you powered it up. Like I said, pay a pro.

I would guess that Nero is having errors. Every time I think I have a bad file, it turns out to be Nero acting up. Try a different burner. Also, this is just an idea and I'm not sure if it would prove anything...but, mount the cue with daemontools and verify the file contents. It could be a corrupt cue.
