just wondering if anyone has had any luck ripping this movie? tried with ANYDVD, dvd shrink and dvd decrypter i must have lost it. never had a problem yet like this one.

I ripped and backed up this movie 3 and a half weeks ago with shrink and Nero alone. Maybe the disc could use some cleaning.

after decrypting the main movie, then @ 0% analysing i get a failure to read file vts_06_1 VOB. invalid access to memory location. ?

Try turning off AnyDVD and try again.

I used AnyDVD and DVDshrink. Everything was O. K. on play back. Real good movie. later GEORGE

Enough with the pimping, anydvd was not helpful in this case it was the propblem.
You can have your 2 cents back, little155. If you paid attention you might be able to solve a problem that you may have in the future. And just so you know, shrink is able to rip this movie fine on its own, for free.

I know, I'm sorry if you feel a little butt hurt. Nothing personal, just tired of seeing anydvd ads when it doesn't help. If you ever have the problem that pain_dr had with a movie that you're trying to backup, now you know of a way that may take care of the problem. Again, I'm sorry. I hope you never have a problem, but if you do I'll be happy to help you if I can.
