ok, heres my story:

I just started to backup my games. I have all the basics down but still kinda having trouble. First, what type of media should i use, DVD-R or DVD+R? I used DVD+R and got the iso for acecombat 5 and burned it. I have an old modchip that uses the gameshark swipe cd. When i tried to do what I do with my old back up games that are on cd-r it works. When i try to use it the same way with a DVD+R, it does not work. What am i doing wrong. Sorry to sound like a dumbass. Help plese!!

your chip probably doesn't work with dvd backups, also you should use -r if you have an older ps2. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/15105
