I picked up a 100pk for 23 bucks @ tigerdirect and they work with my v7 ps2. They are 2.4x but I burn my games slow anyway

I used Philips for a while and then after a few problems switched brands. I don't know why but I can't get very many of the newer games to work with Philips but I have not had any problems with Taiyo Yuden. I would suggest using the Philips for older games and TY's, Ritec G 4's or Verbatim for the newer games. Just my opinion

I made live 2005 with memorex 8x disc and burned at 8x, but the video's has skips and jumps. I reburned with the 2.4x disc and now plays perfect.
