ISO Buster -- What is it and where do you get it from????

I've heard a lot of talk about ISO buster on this forum and was wondering what it does exactly and how to use it. Also if it is something that I need to make successful backups of my games where is the best place to download it??

Basically it deals with data recovery from CD's, DVD's etc. You can find out all about it and download it from

There's also a couple threads that talk about backing up certain games by using ISO Buster and then CDVDGEN to make a new, working .iso for a backup

The two programs are ususally used when you have to break down and then rebuild an ISO due to it having Junk,Dummy, or Garbage files that cause your back ups not to work.

You use ISO Buster to take take the ISO and extract it so that all the files that are in it will show up.
you can then remove the unwanted file.
then you take the DVDGEN program to rebuild it and make it back into an ISO file that you can burn.

I do not do it much but thats the best i can do to explain it.
