im a newbie to backing up dvvd games for ps2 and i have done 2 games but they kepp freezing when they load or have like glitches in them and suggestions.

i am using the v-12slim toll with swap magic 3.3
i am using dvd decrypter
and memorex 8x dvd+r

Memorex is, for almost everyone, terrible media to use for ps2 backups. Save them for movies or something and go pick up some quality discs. Try getting something like: Verbatim datalifeplus, Taiyo Yuden, Philips, HP, etc. Also, might want to stick with 4x max media as well, that works better for me anyway.

Also, burn as slow as possible, 1x or 2x for best results.
