I have an excellent idea! Don't buy windows, get a pirated version. Eventualy windows will learn that it actually has to improve between versions for people to buy.

I do some work at home, so I get to have all legal copies of Windows from the company I work for.. I had full version of XP a month before it hit the stores. I got to beta test XP 6 months before that! I must say I was always a big fan of XP, and still use it at home and work!

I agree window xp is the best os i have ever used. im networking a couple of computer together with cross over cat 5 cable my second computer runs with winxp profesional and my main comp uses winxp with service pack 1
the number one main operation sytem in urope is
windows me, go figure

I still use 98 (because I can) but Windows is tring to phase it out, not because it can't run the programs but so they can make a regular buck. Since 95 they have been releasing an OS EVERY SINGLE YEAR, which is B.S., slowly improving things that are simply annoying but not essential. 95 and ME are still the same thing (DOS + Windows) and 2000 is NT4 + game support. I have XP but can't install it till I have CDed all the DVDs I've ripped. but I'll eventually I'll see how good Xp is.
