ive done a search here and there seems to be many ppl recommending "G04".

apparently, these discs i bought are not the 4X ones. they are the 8X ones. DVD-R. are they any good??

they look like this, except they're 8X

The only way to find out is to try them, mostly because PS2's are very picky with DVD media and therefore there is no way to tell if they'll work well or not =).

yea they are good.
i use the 4x media are it works fine.

just remember never to burn at more than 1x-2x speed

I agree with dbz...never burn to max speed!! Maybe 4x but no more. As long as you don't mind the wait. That is why I have 2 computers.
