That link shows them being $33.95 that makes them .68c each, but if they where $23.99 they would be .48c each.

I would have to go with the Taiyo Yudens here

Maxwell disk are manufactured by several different companys..
Maxwell - Ritek - RicohJapan - Taiyo Yuden

All are pretty darn good manufacturer's. I was just stating I would rather buy some genuine TY's for less then those maxwells.. just an opinion

TDK's are a little more risky they are manufactured by

TDK - RitekG04 - RicohJapan - Maxwell - CMC - MCC

You are taking a little chance with those because you could end up with the CMC disk's and we all know about those.. Generally speaking a good thing to look for on the packaging is made in Japan or Singapore and stay awy from made in Taiwan and Hong Kong.. :-)

I am glad I ordered the DVD blanks for $23.99 and got free shipping to boot (went over 25.00 with other item). I wonder how often Amazon changes there price.

If you have a local Office Depot, they run a lot of maxell sales. I got 100 for $35 a few weeks ago. I usually buy them for no more than $20 a spindle of 50 and $10 spindle of 25.

Just an FYI... i have been going to Best Buy for awile and they are selling the crappy hong kong TDK's. Not the good version. I have had a lot of coasters!

yeah, office depot does have great deals at times. last week i went i was able to pickup GOLD TOPS, which read out as MXL RG03, which i belive to be good discs. Usually , their sales fall for the yellow tops, the Ritek's but i lucked out. Still, for reliable, and quality media, def go for the Taiyo's.
