hi i recently got a new burner but when i put a blank DVD in the player does not read it im sure its the right disc it came with the computer can anyone help me

What exactly do you mean it wont read the DVD? If its blank and you stick it in the writer you aren't going to be able to read it because there is nothing on it.. Is the problem arising when you try to write to the DVD? I am really not sure what you are talking about when you say your burner won't read the disk. Need a little better explination so we can help ya out.
