hey peeps, i just got a flip top cover for my v4 and i changed out that white disc that you have to add to the part that opens, but when I put in a game, it seems to not clamp tightly enough on the game causing a pretty horrible scratching sound. I can stop the sound by pressing on the top of the flip cover, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and/or if i missed something

I do not have a V4 so i am not sure. But i have heard people say that they had to put a small book on top of the flip top before. Guess they just needed a bit extra weight. Not a problem with my V7

the problem with the flip top i cured by placing a small amount of weight on the flip top - specifically a small bottle which once held some goldschlager. As far as swap magic goes, with 3.3 you just put it in, wait till it gets the the load screen, do the swap and hit x

Glad you got that worked out
goldschlager....one of my fave's
even the PS2 likes it.
Swap Magic is pretty easy
put in Swap Magic
Wait for it to say load disc
Open flip top or use slid card to open the DVD drawer
put in your backup and press X

You shouldn't have to put any weight on the lid if your screws are fully tightened (but not over tightened)
