Dvd-R seems empty after one hour burning

I used to burn Dvd to backup my data and since few weeks when i burn a dvd data with NERO. The DVD is empty on my computer.
I have a built in Dvd Burner in a toshiba Laptop.

No this was an old post. It was with my Toshiba DVD burner internal from my laptop.
I think it is dead.
