Hi,

I was wondering if there are other people who are p***ed off that DVD Players don't support lossless audio formats like Monkey Audio (.ape) and FLAC; or the best lossy ones like Muse Pack (.mpc) or Ogg Vorbis (.ogg).

It's nice that my Philips 720 SA supports MP3 and even MP3 tags, but MP3 is old and anything else gives me better quality. I really like the player because it also supports DivX and Xvid and you can update the firmware.

The other bad thing about all DVD Players I know is their menu for music or other files. I think it's like 14 digits and that's it. Not enough at all. Why is that so? There would be enough space on my TV screen - but they just waste it !!! With nothing!

So what do you think?
