I was trying to backup MGS 3 but when I used DVD Decrypter, it would give me an error at 88%, so I tried Alcohol120% and it gave me an error at about 86%. I retried and retried a few times and just got pissed, so I just used nero to do a direct copy, but lo and behold, at 88% it said "burning failed". I put the game in anyway out of hope and it works. So, my question is, will I run into problems later in the game because something at the end didn't burn, and if so, any ideas what it would be?

Chances are you have taken it back.. but..

Are you burning it on SUITABLE DECENT media? Such As Ritek G04's and burning it at a slow speed which your media supports? ie. (1x or 2x) ? ;)

Haven't taken it back yet, but I burn on Ritek 8x, but I burn at 2x. I don't see where that would matter if I couldn't even use DVD Decryptor or Alcohol120% to pull the iso off of the original.

The burning isn't the problem, it's getting the iso off of the original. When I run DVD Decrypter to READ and make the iso, it gives me the error, and so does Alcohol120% when I try to get the iso. Burning is not the problem, it's getting the iso. What I asked about the burning was that because I just copied it straight from the disc to my dvdr, it gave me a "burn failed" too. The game works, I just didn't know what I'd miss if I don't try to fix it. The problem is obviously the disc, so I'm taking it back today. I appreciate the help, but if I can't even get the iso off the disc, burning at 1x won't work. Burning a bad iso at any speed will still mess up.

It's cool man, I'll just play it until I come across a problem, then I'll look for an answer.
