Tried DVD +R and -R and neither will work on my ps2!! Please help!

ok, i have a version 1 ps2 and i cant get my burned dvds to play on it. I used cucusoft dvd burner at 1x. I burned the video from an .m2v file (mpeg). Does it matter that i did not format it into Video_TS and stuff like that? I have tried it on both DVD +R and -R. Do i have to do somthing special besides put the disc in and wait? Please help. Thanks a lot.

ps2 won't play .mpg, unless using the ps2reality program

ok, so if i do the converter thing into video_TS thing it will work? Thanks
