I have a usb data cable that is working fine, and widnows xp sees that i have a "motorolla modem" pluged in. it can even "query" it sissefully, but motorolla phone tools says that it can see the phone, but it does not know what model. so it gives me a list of gsm phones, but myne is not listed. where can i get this "Detect.inf" file that includes my v505 model in it?

p.s. i tried updating, and it still wont list my phone.
