The only time I see my modem (phone) in the list is when the phone is plugged in. If I unplug the phone the modem in device manager disapears. Shouldnt the modem driver stay installed in the list even if the phone isnt plugged in the USB? Also its not a Motorola modem just a regualar modem. Should the modem in the list say MOTOROLA?

when ur fone unplugged it should disappear, thats a normal thing dont worry about it and ya it wont say motorola, it just say USB modem...

to try to make my phone connect better i think Im gonna try the older version of PhoneTools 1.23. I have read a litte about that in this forum and it may work and help connections a bit. It seams I cant cync my calender no more cause it wont connect with PTs. To trasfer files the Pk2 works like a breeze and love that program. Is there any other program that will sync my datebook and phonebook?

Phone Tools looks good but sux. Motorola should do something about this problem. How about a patch!!

i cant think of another prog. that sync the phonebook, ya sometimes the lod version works better but i have MPT 3.23 and it works gr8 :D

open the MPT and then Menu>Setup>Live Update..... tada!!
