Im totally new on this site i was just wondering if someone could explain what and ISO image is and do i need a image recorder.

Im no sure exactly what it stands for but if you copy a movie using software like DVD Shrink it will put an image of that movie onto your hard drive which can then be pulled back off onto a blank DVD.

Hi there,

Found this on a webpage:

International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

But the letters are inverted, go figure !!!

In the computer world, an .ISO file is basicly a CD/DVD Image that contains lots of file, just like a .ZIP file has lots of files in 1 zipfile...

Man that's of lot of files in files <grin>...
