GT4 onto a single layer dvd possible?

hey guys. i havent found this thread yet. i know GT4 is 5.5GB in size. is there a program to compress it onto a 4.7 GB dvd?

there is a program out there that can combine a dual layer into a single layer, but it will still be the same as before 5GB odd the program to combine dual layers was made so people can still boot from Hard drive using the HDLoader

me thinks thats where im going to go, into the HDLoader bit as it seems easier

you mean the actual hard drive u can attach to the ps2?

yea, you know how on the network adaptor you can add a hard drive onto that, not sure what the conditions are but you can, and then use HDloader to load PS2 games via the Hard Drive you can load GT4 like that, but you need to put it into a single layer iso, then load it onto the HD

uh, HDLoader or HDAdvance. He pretty much said the programs for you. :)

hmm so the only option would be to go for a Dual Layer burner? i have an LG 4040b, and i heard a while back u could get a flash upgrade to turn it into a dual layer? is this true? whats the best dual layer burner to get?

they on about the program to compile dual layers to single layers, i will find this out as soon as i can

ps2's cant read backed up dual layers, simple as, they have to be printed/pressed

The Program I believe is Called Apache2
filename apache2.rar
can be downloaded from PS2NFO.com in their Modules Section.
