Verbatim Digital Movie DVD-R? Is that ok for burning?

I bought Verbatim DVD-Rs (because I've heard the company produces good products). However, they are entitles Digital Movie DVD-Rs and each one has a weird movie picture on the top side of the DVD.

Do these still work for PS2 backups?

I've been burning all my back-ups on those same discs and I have never had a problem yet. Just burn them at 2x and you should be good.
