AVI PAL TO NTSC

i have some AVI files that are supposedly in PAL format. is there anyway to convert these so they will play on a standalone dvd player? i use clone cd and also have sonic my DVD that came with my computer. any help is greatly appreciated.

Try vso divxtodvd(free) you just load up your avi's and it converts them to VOB files that can be burned on a dvd with Nero copytodvd etc.

Nero Vision express will do this on its own.

I didn't know .AVI files have reigons? But anyway it has to reencoded. NVE will do that
