is there an easy way to make avi's play on a dvd player?

the avi's in question use the xvid codec. I looked at the guide on here but it seems waaay to lengthy of a process and I'm lazy. is there any program that can prepare the files to the point of being burned?

Try vso divxtodvd(free) you just load up your avi's and it converts them to VOB files that can be burned on a dvd with Nero copytodvd etc.

Sure it can,did you look at the guide?
The Interface could not be more easy to explain. The first area we can see allows you to set your source file(s)
That seems to imply more than 1

That mustve been what you saw.
If you need menus then you can use dvd authoring software,to make menus,add chapters etc.
If you have Nero,you can do it all in one step with Nero visionexpress.
