DNAS question: Playing online (using backup) soldered modchip

i dont have swap magic, i got a soldered modchip
so how do I play a backup online, will it work? is it realy complicated, thanks. I'd appreciate simple steps.

It mentions patching but not how to play "online" on a back up. Any other link?
