i have windows XP SP2 and it works for me.
Btw i have version 1.50 have no idea what version the link he sent you has.

I found the problem!!!! I went to my windows/repair dir and copied my Autoexec.nt and Config.nt files to windows/system32 dir. then tried the setup file again, and bingo it works. win xp has some problems if these files arn't in there dirs, so if you do this it should work!

hello every one.
I am new here. and I am looking for a way to copy PS2 games.
I did everything and I was almost done.. but for the cdvdgen, when I click on the burn butom it say "ASPI Manager Loading Failed" any one has any IDEA how I can work with that.
I HAVE XP and I did copy Autoexec.nt and Config.nt files to windows/system32 dir. but still nothing workd.
I am using cdvdgen version 1.50 and I used 1.2 and they were the same.
please let me know if any one has any IDEA about it.

CD/DVD Gen. is supposed to have 2 error messages pop up after you hit the record button. If you only have one pop up then you are missing a .dll file that you need to install into you system32 folder and system folder in Windows. You can find this file at :

Hello keras,
I downloaded the .ddl file that u told me about and I get the first 2 error msg. but still I get a 3rd one and it say "Initalization Failed" so pleasr let me know if any one knows anything about it.

i have no idea what you are trying to do
you said you wanted a link for cd/dvd gen,amd i gave it you
those 2 app' are different things
iso buster is to extract the iso,cd/dvd gen i to generate an iso

hello again.
I am trying to copy a PS2 game..
and I was trying to do everything what I got in the list. but the error meg was not what it was writen there. so I think I am doing something bad or the program is bad.
so I just want to learn how 2 copy the games..
I did use the DVD-9-ISO program that u gived me.. still I can go on. cuz I dont know where is the winHIIP or step 14..

ok I have the game called GHOST RECON. and I am trying to copy it for my friend..
I found some steps how 2 copy a PS2 game. and I am going throw the steps.
everything is fine. but then I come to setp "m)YOU WILL GET 2 ERRORS, JUST CLICK OK FOR BOTH." that is in "CDVDGEN" I cant go on cuz nothing pups up and there is a red X says Initialization Failed.. and if u want I can send u the steps but I need ur e-mail.. if u contact me directly I will send it 2 u. and thanx for ur help.

i dont know of any problems that occur when copying this game
why are you using cd/dvd gen???

if u cant help me with that just tell me what is winHIIP it is in the DVD-9-ISO file that I downloded fromt he link that u give.. there is readme.txt and the last step. I Thik it is 14.send the iso to winHIIP.

if you are trying to copy ghost recon,you dont need all that cd/dvd gen crap,you are going on about
who told you,you needed that???
ghost recon is a straight forward copy ,as far as i know
have you ever copied a game before?
lets go back to basic's

for phucs sake!!!!!!!
right.....all you need is dvd decrypter
thats it....
i dont know where you got the need for cd/dvd gen from
thats used for rebuilding games.
if you are new,steer clear of all that crap
follow these simple steps
put the game in the drive
open dvd decrytper
click on MODE>ISO> READ
this will transfer the game onto the hardrive
once this is done
you need to change the settings to
MODE>ISO>WRITE
find the file you just created,(you are best to create a new folder,so you know where the game is)
select the MDS,file
and click the graphical image on decrypter
burn at the slowest speed possible
