Hey, my Godfather came down from Portugal (Ginetes, Sao Miguel, Azores to be exact) and wanted me to backup a DVD he got down here.

He then told me when he got back that the movie worked - but it was in black & white.

Any remedy?

Most likely your problem is that the movie you downloaded is in PAL format. The lines of resolution in the picture are different as PAL is used in Europe and some parts of Asia I believe. Make sure the format is NTSC or "USA" format
