Here are my PS2 Specs - Model 30001 Version 4
w/ Magic 3.1 Mod chip installed and working.

Here is my method to make backup copies.
1.Use DVDDecrypter ISO-Read mode to create ISO of Killzone.
2.Use DVD version of DISK ID Utility to pull the Disk Id from the original Killzone DVD
3. Use WinDIP to insert the Disk ID that I obtained from step 2 above into the ISO DNAS entry. (Patch)
4.Use DVD Decrypter ISO-Write mode to burn ISO to blank (generic DVD - + R ).

Outcome. Bootable and playable (im assuming)KILLZONE PS2 DVD.

Issue:
Then I attempt to use that backup copy to load onto the Hard Drive using HDLOADER. It progresses until about 78 % and then I hear the laser begin to hunt for data and then HD loader tells me there is a Read Error and asks if I want to continue. I do continue and it continues to hunt and gather data writing to the hard drive , but eventually can no longer gather data at about 88-89 %

So I insert the original KILLZONE DVD and try and write it to the hard drive using HDLOADER. Writes it perfectly every single time! No read errors!

So I think I will try another backup that I made of THE PUNISHER . The Punisher backup writes 100 % with no read errors. Same media as the backup for KILLZONE. SAME DVD WRITER

I try to load another backup of ATV Off Road Fury 3 and it gets to exactly 50 % every time before it reports disk read errors.

So my question is. Why do the originals and only some backups load all the way through using HDLOADER and why do some encounter the read errors?

Any suggestions or advice is always welcomed
