Help. I'm having trouble adding a menu using DvdLab and NVE

I got a dvd copy of a 45 min. tv show that has no menu. I'm trying to add a menu to it, but somethings going wrong. When I use NVE, the show splits up into about 80 chapters as soon as I hit the add video button. Is there a way to join the whole thing?

When I use DvdLab, everything goes well with compiling the dvd and burning it w/ the menu. It's just that when I put it in the dvd player the menu appears and I hit play, it takes about a full minute before it starts to play. I've made a couple of dvds w/ dvdlab, and this has never happened. I'm not sure what's wrong. Any suggestions?
