Best cd-media for PS2 backup

Hello!
I would like to know your opinio about what CD brand is the best for:
- PS2 backup games
- PS2 media files (avi etc.) with reality player
What brands does the PS2 'swallow' (V9).
-=Heared RitekG04 and YUDEN are fine=-
-PS2 V9, Flip Top + SMD V3.3, Nec2510a [Trying DVD/CD]
-AMD 64 3400+, 1024MB, ATI X800 Pro, K8N Deluxe

i dont know if its the best but ps2's read bulkpaq pretty well.ive got hundreds of bulkpaq cd-r backups.
a V9 ps2 should be fine with most A-Grade media.Ridisc AAA+,Ridata A etc etc

These here are basicly the best that you can use. I never have a problem backing up Ps2 games with number 1 and 2.
Hope this helps your question..
As with the Ps2 media files, cant help ya there.
Maybe do a search. or just google it..

Most ps2 games are on DVD now and u really should go to the ps2 cd boot fourm but anyway use memorex 700mb disks very good and they are not easly effected by "cd rot"

Ok whats the best for dvd. I tried fuji dvd-r, memorex-r, Compusa lol -r
and berbatem +r. None worked. I have the ps2 chipped and whe i got it chipped i was given a backup dvd to check it. That boots fie but theres no name on the disk. Any one need a coaster i have 20 o them thanks.

ritek GO4 -R work great.
many people swear by the japenese one.cant remember the name.yoshi something to be the best.

Thanks actually I cant figure out the problem im having. I had someone chip my ps2 for me and I was supposed to get the DMS4 pro, bt after a whole fiasco i got 50 bucks back and some old chip. He game me a backup to show it worked but i cant make a good backup of anygames it seems ISO backups wont boot. I checked the disk he gave me and it looks totaly different than the files in a mounted iso. The image is in there and Data files but and the system file but there not in folders there all opened on the dvd, the iso files i made are in folders. so i dont think its the dvds. Arghhhhhh no one knows what im talking about either so thanks foryour info anyway, wish me luck.

Thanks Red thats exactly what im gonna do, im selling my ps2 (that i finally got to work) and im buying a new one with the soilderless chip. I checked the media he used and found it was ridata i tried the g04 and the g05 the g04 works all others dont. Go fugure. Well thanks for your help guys your all great in my book.
