i have a version 7 ps2 with a matrix infinity chip.
i use dvd decrypter to do my backups.
i have done loads of backups every1 so far has been succesful but i have a couple of questions.
ok
Q.1 - i have noticed backing up gt4 is impossible at the moment.
but is that the only dual layer game that wont work
or do all dual layer games not work.
Q.2 - i have seen that u need a patch for mercenaries
does that include mod chipped consoles
or just ppl using swap magic ( MY PS2 IS PAL )
Q.3 - considering my version of PS2 and my mod chip
and that i use dvd decrypter to backup my games
is there any games i need patches 4 so they will run correctly.
Q.4 - i have seen that alot of ppl have had trouble with fifa street.
i have backedup a copy of fifa street and it works perfectly how come i did not need a patch or a fix.
its very difficult,there are no guides that i know of
it takes a lot of work,there are not many games that require this anyways,most DVD-9 are jusr downsized to fit on DVD-5,the only game i have on 2 dvd's is xenosage 2
I have heard also that the Champions Of Norath, and Champions Return To Arms are also dual layer. But other than those and GT4 those are all i have heard about myself.
there are quite a few on DVD-9,but there are only a small minority that cannot be resized to fit onto DVD-5,
champions of norath is another(on 2 dvd's),i have that as well,i forgot,i've got hundreds of games,i lose track!!!
