i used dvd decrypter and i have the slim ps2.
here is what i did
1. use iso read and back up nba live 2005
2. use iso write and
3. there was 2 files msd and iso.
4. i wrote the iso file image and burnt it with iso write mode
5. put it in my slim ps2
6. didnt work
7. it said insert a format disc.
8 what is wrong?

no, i dont have a mod chip and i have a swap magic disc for my old ps2 but i have the new slim ps2.
i thought slim ps2 can read like the burnt disc and stuff like that?
help me

The new ps2, although different in physical appearance, functions the same internal wise as an older ps2. So you need to use either a swap method or get a mod chip for your new slimline, sorry.

the swap magic should work in the slim PSTwo also. But you will still need to either do the straw mod, get a slimtool or flip top so that you can open it without it resetting so that you can play back ups on it.
