Not sure if this is the right forum for this but ok. here goes. i downloaded Act Of War ISO file 5.02 GB and there were instructions how to convert to 3.1gb so i could use normal dvd but im not fully understanding them.. so if theres anyone out there that does, could you please clear it up a little bit for me cause im not fully understanding what its saying. thank you.

Act of WAR - DVD9 ---> DVD5 INSTRUCTIONS
First grab i6comp from here: myplc.com/sony/bin/i6comp.zip

THIS IS FOR ENGLISH ONLY!!! replace with language of your choice:

16comp l data2.cab will list then event ID filename... make note of the language you want to keep..

Then extract the ISO to your HD NTFS needed as over 5G

Goto video folder and delete all the wav files EXCEPT ENG_Cutscene_00.wav

DELETE Directx folder

DELETE Language (readme.txt) files from Root

Unzip 16comp to root dir

goto command prompt root dir of your extracted iso

16comp d data2.cab 90 datav_fr.dat

16comp d data2.cab 91 datas_fr.dat

16comp d data2.cab 92 datav_de.dat

16comp d data2.cab 93 datas_de.dat

16comp d data2.cab 94 datav_it.dat

16comp d data2.cab 95 datas_it.dat

16comp d data2.cab 96 datav_es.dat

16comp d data2.cab 97 datav_es.dat

You NOW have a filesize of ~3.1G which you CAN burn to NORMAL DVD

have you tried DVD Shrink? Click File/open image file, then find ISO. You can then customize the size if you want, but I'd leave it at default (4464 MB or something like that) or change it to 4300 MB, as many people do.

COMPLETE - ENJOY!
Press any key to continue . . .

I get this repeated msg if I try to run the i6comp d command or this patch.bat that does all that for me in one command. What is wrong? If anyone knows of a solution please help

*Note: I also tried Winpack. Got to the datacabs and saw the foreign language groups. Tried to delete with Delete a group command. It did the dos commands as mentioned but I think it uses i6comp.exe as well and didn't disappear after the command to Delete a group was initiated.

Also my 'data1.hdr is 20.8kb so I dunno if anything is wrong with it... Maybe someone can post there data1.hdr here since its a small file.

DVD Shrink is for DVD video files not for data
