thanx for the gag lol. hey bbmayo, you still didn't answer my other question. Do you or anyone else for that matter know of any good download sites? Like I said the one we are dealing with now is very slow at downloading. Oh and I am a female. Just thought I would clear that up lol. viclace for a male??hmmmmm. I would have to wonder about that male lol.

No problem Viclace, but you never know about the names for sure. I made hat mistake once before when someone had a name I was pretty sure was a female name, but it wasn't. So I preffer not to take any chances :-)
By the way welcome to AD, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Just do yourself a favor and read the rules a lot of people don't do that and end up with these embarassing threads :-) We are all one big happy family here and welcome all :-) OK we are a big family not to sure about the happy part, but we try..

do you have dialup, maybe consider getting ADSL, or cable or even a T1 connection .Fair enough you pay more but the speed is greatly increased as well

That is what I don't understand we have very high speed internet (cable modem).
My has informed that our computer is a PCI Express with a 3.4 or something Pentium processor with 4 GB of ram.
I don't know anything about this, my husband is the computer tech here.

Well, I can say one thing.
If I had these two choices:
1 - Pay $10 to $20 for a movie.
2 - Waiting DAYS to download a pirated movie (your own words) that may or may not even work.
I think I'd opt to shell out the cash for the legal version.
I'm still running 56K dialup and I get pissed off because I have to wait 10-15 minutes for less than a megabyte to download. I think I'd cut my computer in half with a powersaw if I had to wait for 8 gigabytes to download.

good for you sadsac i'm sure i feel better now knowing your sentiments on this matter!!!
Me well i more or less use my connection speed for net conferrencing as my family is spead around the world .With dialup the wait suxs but with ADSL its reasonably quicker.

Maybe you should ask your local Blockbuster store clerk dude or dudette. I'm sure they'll be glad to shed some light on the subject. Ask to see a manager. Tell him you've been renting and burning like crazy and you want to be sure the corporate manager can't tell you've been doing it.
Just go in there and throw a hissy fit. Tell him you don't appreciate the spyware he put on your computer and you REALLY don't appreciate the tracking chip he put in your dvd case. Tell him you're going to go to the police and have him arrested for stalking. Tell him you've contacted the FBI about the current conspiracy theory and that you've put up aluminum foil all over your computer room walls. Tell him you put your OWN tracking chip under his vehicle and that you want to see how he feels when someone's watching his every move.
He'll talk. Trust me.
Well, he'll either talk or have you committed.
Be sure to call yourself Jerry Fletcher. Know who that is?

There is a chip in the disc. Once you play it on your computer, it downloads a program and starts reporting everything you do when you are connected to the net, even the replies on this website. Before you do anything else, unplug your pc, take it outside and set it on fire. While it is on fire, you can hold a blank dvd over it.(I hear this is the best way to burn a dvd)

This says they only will refund the price for the unused ones. I wonder if I would get anywhere if I took in a bunch of used ones and demanded my money back.
