Is there software out there that will do it all, rip and burn, all the encoding stuff, strip out un-necessary add-ons, leave just the film?
DVD X Copy looks the part, but i'm looking for user recomendations.
I have HP200J DVD burner in compac 6254EA 1.8g 256m PC and i am totally new to DVD backups.
PS i got the PC at Christmas off the UK PC World web site for £397. i think they made an error in the pricing..:)
DVDXCopy is the solution if you do not mind large movies being split onto two DVD disks. If you would like to get it all on one it will take longer and more than one app although there is a program that you can run that will make use of all the small apps and give you and end result you can burn a link for it is below.
I have never tried dvd x copy , but I manage to back up my dvd's with free ware tools that are available from the download site here or at doom9 , there's loads of guides available, and Ifoedit can stripp out all the crap and split it to two discs and can create ifo's if you dont have any
