Backing up CD games larger than 730 MB?

I have the game Rygar, which is very rare these days. It's 800 MB and on CD

Image Format: MODE2/FORM2/2352
DVD Format: MODE1/2048

It also doesn't say DVD on the original disk anywhere.

Which begs the question: how do you put an 800 MB backup on a 730 MB disk?

EDIT: O, and what are the best CD brands for backups? My backup of Ico, using SONY MADE CDs, makes a squeaking noise all the time.

EDIT2: There is no way to backup CD games to a DVD is there?

Alcohol 120% can do this job easy no problem.No it is not possible to transfer a dvd game to cd-r or vice versa.There are many good cd-r brands out there like Verbatim,Ritek,TDK.Looking at the bottom of the orginal game you can see if they are dvd or cd.Purple colored are cd-r and the silver bottom are dvd-r.
