There is no information available of it yet.
I think soon we know, gamecube development is advancing fast.

The future is not set. Theres no fate but that which we make for ourselves.

I mean, Is it possible to avoid the disc-swaping with an upgraded bios??

No one "knows" yet.

None of the current chips/bios support this.

The new chip that supposidly does isn't out yet.

The new chip that supposidly does doesn't have any specific information regarding the details of it, so there is some degree of questioning if the claim is even true, atleast with regards to how we all are assuming it works.

The new chip that supposidly does has some wiring differences compared to the viper. It has one extra wire to the bios chip, and has different placement of one wire on that connector area on the GC's MB (where the bridge is made). There is also another wire for tapping voltage (suspected for use with USB). No one knows the signifigance of these slight wiring variances.

We just don't know, and won't know till the Qoob is out, people can see what it does, see if it's claims are true, and understand how it's doing it.
