Good media, but bad price.
You can get those at best buy for around 40 bucks per hundred.
You have to buy larger bulks, to get the good price.

If you got a bestbuy store nearby, you can get the 50 packs for $20.Seems like they are always on sale there, but too far for me to go.
40 cents apiece when on sale.
Very good media, sony +1x-8x that were made in japan were also coding out as Yuden000-to2.

You've got to go with the spindle packs. You paid over a dollar per disk. Even at regular price, the spindles are cheaper than that per disk.
If you have other stores around, they should match the prices.

Is Fuji really a good media? I am having troubles getting my DVD-R's to play on my Oritron DVD4119 player. I called them and they said I need to "finalize" the disc before it would play. Now, I'm not the smartest person in the world, but this sounded like a line to me. Any thoughts?

The fuji's made in japan are very good, they usually I.D. as taiyo yuden or yuden, the ones not made in japan, are either prodisc or fujifilm, not nearly as good.
The statement about the discs not being finalized, is definitely a line. All burning programs finalize the disc after the burn is done.Unless your talking about a dvd recorder standalone, then you have the option when to finalize.

they still had better read results then my memorex.
i know this is off topic but media code (rioch)
is there a company that exclusive uses this or the
mcc2 media code. From what i saw it seemed like the media made in tawin uses rioch brand(or at least with the two medias i've tested tdk and digital movie +.

If you meant ricohjpn, then the most common media that I have used and checked out with this code is the maxell +4x.Even in all the different package sizes, they all have been checking out as ricohjpn's.
I have run into that code on sony +4x,teon +8x,and verbatim +4x data life.
All those ricoh's burned just as good as my ty's/mxl-rg02's/mxl-rg-03's/yuden0000-T02.Also excellent playback on my stand alones.
MCC002 are also pretty good,but I'll stick with the MCC-003-verbatim data life plus/Verbatim +8x and the ty's.

It's still hard telling on some of those verbatim +4x data life. Some of the first media I bought were 3/ 30 pack spindles.
2 of the spindles of them were ricohjpn-01,and the other one was mcc-002. Some reason,my stepson's ps2 would not accept those particular ricoh's verbs-"no disc inserted error".He had no trouble with the mcc-oo2 spindle. Pretty odd,Identical packaging/quantity-different mfg codes.
