wireless network trouble-drops connection frequently...

Hello. Ok, this is my problem. I just upgraded my comp to xp home. i have my internet set up with wireless usb adapter into the usb, and i send out internet from that computer's network card to my xbox for xbconnect. When i had windows ME, it worked fine, just dropped every so often, but once i upgraded, i found it dropped after every like 1 or 2 minutes whenever sending out that internet connection. My internet does not drop whenever i just use it to browse the web and so on, just like i said, it drops frequently whenever sending out the internet through the network card. Also, i disabled all the firewall stuff for the connection and the in general firewall, thinkin that it may have been the problem, but it didnt improve at all. So any suggestions please?
