GPRS problem with Phone Tools Vers 3.23 on V220

I have now installed PT V 3.23 on my V220 but I am having trouble connecting via GPRS. I keep getting a message which says the PPP has been terminated do I want to revert to the back of GSM data etc. Does anyone know what could be my problem. It has connected only once all the other times I have used the GSM data option but that costs me money whereas GPRS is free at the moment with my network so would really like to get that working if I can but don't know where to start to check where the problem could be.

as far as i know that MPT v3.23 doesnt support GPRS function, (not sure)....
