Could someone please send me the PAL patch (single player fix) available for splinter cell chaos theory on PS2NFO. I havent got a ISP based e-mail so I cant register :(

ive managed 2 get a ISP email n signed up but still cannot download anytin for 5 days
So if ANYONE could possibly send me the patch for Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (single player fix) i would REALLY appreciate it.

u need 2 download a program called ppf-o-matic which allows u to patch the ISO

can some one plz help??
i patched the game with the NTSC patch for sinplge player and burned it with decrypter on a sony dvd-r at 8x...has anybody got this game working with the patch?
if u did plz help!!!!!!!1

i think ur mistake was when u burned ur game @ 8X, i only eva use 2x or if that fails then 1x (plus thats the only speeds my old skool DVD-writer supports).
I patched my PAL version n worked like a charm.
For the earlier post u can only apply 1 of the patches to the ISO so if u want both u will need to patch it to 2 different ISO's of the game, so u will have 1 disc for Single player n 1 disc for multiplayer

i have another question? i rented the game and burn it and it didnt work, so what i did was that i made an iso copy and apply the NTSC patch and when i did that a file named SLUS_21137.MDS appeared in the same directoy where i had the iso, its about 5kb, now when i burn the game that it has already been patched do i have to burn the iso file or the SLUS_21137.MDS file?
plz help me!!
thank you very much...now im about to burn the iso file at 1x to see if it works..

i dont no bout that 2 be honest, i would imagine u would need to burn the ISO still.
Post ur results 4 other ppl if they get the same problem.

finally i got it to work...the problem was that decryper program was burning the dvd right...for some reason it wasnt writting at all...so i burned my pacthed iso with Nero at 4x and its working now...thank you for your help

Are these NTSC patches only for swap magic or do these fix it if you're running if off off HDD? Can you patch the game by installing it first from ps2 to HDD then transfer it to your computer then do a straight patch using PPF-O-MATIC 3.0 to the game .iso off of the other drive?

The patch does work for the HDD but u need to have the ISO on ur PC and then transfer it to your PS2.
Also, enable Mode 1 in HDloader/HDadvance in order for SC:CT to boot up correctly.

ive already given the answer to that question.
I *REALLY* hate it when people cant b arsed to read whats been written (especially in such a small thread) and then ask the same questions, which has 99% of the time has already been answered, as some1 else.
Half of the GT4 thread ive been keepin track of consists of posts which are the same questions over and over.
READ AND FOUND OUT UR ANSWER!!!
If you cant find it then post it, these forums are to learn stuff so stop being so lazy about it.

any body used the patch for the hdadvance which allows single player and multi player.
well i have and ive got mode 1 enabled, it freezes at the first load screen.
the load bar fills and thats it it stays there.

Ok I cant get this to work!! Are you sure these patches work with HDAdvance? I made an ISO of the game on my pc then I winHIIP the bare ISO to my PS2 then using winHIIP I patched the game with the NTSC single player patch. Second, I Took the image on my pc and patched it with the multiplayer patch using ppf-o-matic. Then I open it up with UltraISO and extracted the DNAS300.IMG and the IOPRP300.IMG files and thried to patch them with the Disc ID I got from the disc earlier. On the DNAS guide it said that a game will have either a DNAS or IOPRP file but this one has both,whats going on there? Anyway I used Disc Id Insertor and put the ID successfully into the DNAS file but whan I checked the IOPRP file it said it didn't contain any DNAS so i skipped it. After I winHIIP to my ps2 HDD, I tried booting them (plural times with different Modes) the single player one freezes after a couple seconds of the initial loding bar and the multiplayer one stays black.

all i know is that this works with the swap magic...i dont know how or if it works with HD loader...
