HELP! Problem with NERO upgrade...

I just got a DVD RW/R and installed the Nero software. I created a slide show with VisionExpress 2. I upgraded to v.3. I read that I need Version 6 so I can burn DVD+R so I can play it on a DVD player. PLEASE HELP!!! How do I get the upgrade??? I've tried to download it from the site and it goes through and even says I have v.6, but I it's v.3 and won't let me burn to a DVD+R. (I'm doing a video slide show for my sister's rehearsal dinner THIS FRIDAY!)
